Starting off with a New Year

We've had a lot going on behind the scenes the past few months, and a lot more laid out for the coming year.

First off, we are going to have a panel at Babscon, going on April 3rd to the 5th, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency SFO, Burlingame California. We are very excited to be participating in this convention, and hope to see some of you there!

We are still working out the logistics from our end, but currently we're planning on a crew of at least six studio members who will be on hand to answer questions, and make our presentation, and show the public where we're at with our animation.

In other news, our studio has been growing exponentially with a recent influx of new members and some truly incredible talent. We'll continue to update our Gallery page, and our Featured page, with art, music, episodes of our smaller projects, and various studio clips. In the process, we have also had to say goodbye to several members. We would like to both welcome in our new studio members, and offer a thank you to those who have participated, but had to move on to other opportunities, or take care of school and family. We wish all of you the very best.

Web Site

More Bio Pages for members - for those in the studio, get a pic of your OC or chosen representative graphic, a short paragraph about yourself, and a link to any pages of your art or work to your director, and they will pass them on to me after review. We'll get them put up on the site to share with everyone else. To those visiting, it's an opportunity to get to know more of the people who make up our fantastic group of talented artists, of varying sorts - from visual, to voice, to musical, to other skills. Its a pleasure to be able to introduce them to you.

Concept Art

We've released a few initial sketches of the Ministry Mares. You can see them in our Gallery. Bear in mind, as with several of the concepts, these are a work in progress. Final results will be released in time.
See our Featured page for continual updates on released video and music and various project episodes as they are made available.

Across the Globe

We will be represented at a convention in Thailand on request, with a special episode of Stable-Talk. It has been in the works for a while, and should be completed soon. Our indomnitable S.R. Davies and Canas Dark may have even managed a few phrases in the host language, if I'm given to understand correctly. Equestria Daily recently highlighted our attendance. Needless to say, we are very excited to hear how our presentation goes over with the fans there.
Over the past weekend we were involved in an online radio interview with the folks at Fractured Frequencies. Much fun was had by all who participated, and we'd like to thank them for the opportunity to be featured during a Fallout-inspired month of talk and tribute.

Studio Changes

We would like to congratulate JD on accepting the call to serve as Studio Assistant Director, working under Michael Hall. He has been doing an outstanding job behind the scenes in helping organize the studio, assist in HR issues, recruiting new talent, and helping smoothe out some of the little hiccups and bumps that happen in the course of getting a studio up and going. We are looking forward to a new year of continued growth and accomplishments, and to his help in getting us there.

Babscon was fantastic!

We want to thank each and every one of you who took the time to come see us at Babscon! By all accounts, it was a great success. Our panelists say the crowd was great, and we had a line going out the door and around the corner to come see what we had to offer. Everyone had an outstanding time meeting and greeting, getting out our pins to the fans, and seeing what the convention had to offer. You couldn't miss our folks - they were the ones in those great looking shirts with the big green Stable-Tec logo on them. Currently, they're exclusive to the studio, save for the couple we were able to give away at the convention. So if you happen to see one, it's most likely one of us.

Thanks goes out to the Babscon staff as well for giving us the opportunity to share our progress with everyone. You were great, and we look forward to seeing you at many more fantastic conventions to come as our studio progresses and grows. That's right, folks - we're here for the long haul. As we've said in interviews and statements before, we are dedicated to seeing this project through, and are having a great time doing it. Thanks again to everyone who has been following and supporting us. Stay tuned for further updates and releases - such as our panel video, recently uploaded to Youtube and the website.

Thai Pony Con

Before anything else, we want to send out a huge thank you to all the folks at the Thailand Pony Convention. They were outstanding to work with, and we appreciate their support, their promotional efforts, and inviting us to share some of our content with them, and all the fans that attended. It looks like we had a fantastic turnout for our little panel.

We also have available the special Stable Talk episode made exclusively for the convention. Now that the con is over, we're posting it here for everyone.

Thank you again, folks! We look forward to sharing more content as we go along!

We have quite a lot going on here and as ever our intrepid editor/reporter/assistant director has been on the pulse when finding out about awesome puppet news. The simple fact is we're reaching a lot of big milestones here now, and once the work is complete it is ... complete.
Which is fantastic.

First off, let's talk about Velvet. She's almost done and there's a few final tweaks and prodding to do with her rigging. The parts that dictate how she moves and speaks and we should actually have her done in a week or so. One of the wonderful things about starting off from a base and editing is a lot of stuff is interchangable, and scalable, and this will help with other puppets down the road.

Walk cycles are being worked on too for all the puppets, and from what we've been shown they look fantastic. All this makes the task of animating a bit easier when the characters are moving around.

Contact Info

We also have a fan mail & feedback address now! for all your fan-based needs. This will be added to the Contacts page, and checked regularly for any feedback from folks wanting to drop us a line. It is a huge effort getting a studio up and running, along with creating the base for an ongoing series, and we want to thank you all for your patience support as we continue moving forward. Not to mention, we would love to see questions, comments, and criticisms from you, the Fallout:Equestria fans. Want to give design critique? Gush over our choices of style? Tell us how our mothers should be ashamed? Send them in to our fan mail hotline!

We can't wait to share our first episode with you, and from there, it should only get better.

A New Chapter to the Fallout:Equestria Audiobook has been uploaded. Check it out here! And with that, some very kind words from Kkat herself on her blog, along with some helpful suggestions for those interested or involved in writing. Thank you for the props, Kkat!

Auditions for the Chapter 10 of the Fallout:Equestria Audiobook have been posted - to all studio members interested, see our forums and the VA channel for details.

Check out our Youtube channel, and our Promos Page for our latest additions - info on our Babscon panel, and a little something in honor of today, the first of April.

We had an outstanding talk with Nightly, who is an admin on a great little GMOD for Fallout:Equestria. They are a fantastic group of people who have been continuously improving their game. And after watching one of our own log in and run through it, I can say it looks like a load of fun. For those interested, here's the information for logging in:

These fine people will be using our music in the mod and advertising for us as well. There will be a bunker in the mod for Stable-Tec members and we will have unique tags on our names, so you can tell us from the others. Thank you Nightly & team! We appreciate the nods, and hope your game continues to grow!

We have enabled COMMENTS on this page, and the featured video pages, and we would love to hear some feedback from you! We are using the same system as Equestria Daily, so those who are registered through them, as I understand it, can use your same information here. We're testing these out on the pages noted for now, and will likely be expanding them later.

It is convention season, and we are examining our options, and making plans. Our attendance will be announced here and on our various social media outlets as we solidify those plans, and get the proper clearance. There are some that we simply cannot, for one reason or another, make it to with panels or other official presentations - but that doesn't mean we won't have a presence there. We have members worldwide who have expressed interest in attending a plethora of conventions. If you see a Stable-Tec shirt, don't be afraid to say hello!

More updates will be listed here as they happen - stay tuned!

Galacon 2015!

This is something we have had to keep under our hats for some time, due to the release date,
and charity effort that was launched along with it. But now that it has, we are proud
to announce not only our participation in this year's Galacon promotional video,
but our attendance at the convention itself.

Galacon will be held in Ludwigsburg, Germany, August 1-2 at the Forum am Schlosspark. More details are available on their website. We want to thank them for allowing us the opportunity to create the promotional video, and for having us as panelists at this year's convention. We are really looking forward to attending. Look for the Stable-Tec shirts, and don't be afraid to say hello if you stumble across one of our members!

We look forward to seeing you there, and taking part in all of the fun planned. A number of our members who worked on the promotion video will be there to answer questions, and give some updates on where we are currently in our production.

Everfree Northwest

We were able to take part in a small panel at this year's Everfree Northwest convention in Seattle. Thanks for having us back again this year, folks - we appreciate the support! And a huge thank you to DapperJack and Evil Bob for taking up the reins and representing us there. They were both involved in other panels during the convention, and we are glad that they were able to take the time to hold a short one for the studio as well. We may not have had too much in the way of new progress to share there, but only due to timing on some releases.

Read on to see more.

Confessions of a Wasteland Pony

Episode 3: The Duchess Horror is up, and loaded both here on our website, and to our Youtube account. So far the reception has been very positive, and we want to thank everyone who has taken the time to listen, and comment. Along with this release is an additional treat. The Music and Sound department is just full of talented people. And they came up with a beautiful musical effort that goes with the episode. For full effect, listen to the episode first, then the music.
We can't blame you if you can't wait, though. It is a hauntingly rendered piece.

Something to note, for those who wonder how our time is being divided up between all the different side projects while we attempt as a group to complete our first episode:
We have a studio full of fantastic people, and given the nature of how production flows, there are always some who have time to dedicate to additional projects after having completed their various parts in the main animation.

It not only gives our members something to do in the times when there are breaks in production, it is fantastic practice, and it offers us an opportunity to add to the richly detailed Equestrian Wasteland that Kkat has so graciously given us to play in. In a place so vast, there are always additional stories that could be told. The Confessions series is a way to shine a little light on some of those stories, and share them with our fans and supporters.

Thanks to SkyBolt, and all those who participated in bringing this latest episode to life, as well as all of you out there who have been supporting us.

Here at the studio, we have been undergoing some discussion and possible changes in organization in order to not only help our members, but to help the workflow as well. In the process we've had a few members who have said goodbye to the studio. We wish them all the best, and hope they succeed in their endeavors. We also have several who are joining the military, and have gone on hiatus for the interim. Best of luck to all of you as well.
Our group spans the globe, and regardless of what country you serve,
we want to show our thanks and respect.

Galacon & BronyCon - Thank You!

We want to thank those involved in running both conventions, and everyone who attended for all of their help, support, and the opportunity to share our project with you. We had a great time meeting and greeting, participating in the various activities and panels going on, and being able to help raise money for a great cause in the process. I'm told at BronyCon, we had so many awesome folks who came to see us, that they ended up having to turn some away. We love you guys - and to those who were unable to get in, please know that we value your support, and hope that we'll be able to catch you at next year's events.

As always, we very much appreciate the chance to be a part of a great community, and showcase our work. To those organizing the cons, our hats are off to you for the successful events! Much fun was had all around, and the studio has been full of stories and a renewed sense of enthusiasm. Thanks again! We're glad we could be a part of it all.

Thank you as well to Kkat for her acknowledgment - and most importantly, her permission to use her creations in our art and products in order to raise those funds. Without that, we wouldn't have been able to do nearly so well. You continue to be awesome, m'lady!

In addition, a huge thanks to those who organized the charity drive, Bronies for Good. We know that our contribution will go to helping those in need, and are honored to have been a part of your charity drive. Keep up the good work, and best of luck in all your future endeavors.

For those curious, here's the intro we had for our panel. A HUGE thank you to all of our members who helped contribute to it, and to those who sacrificed their time and talents into pulling it all together, and getting it where it needed to go. This little codepony remains in awe. Salute!

Chapter 10 is Up

While this has actually been up for a while, here's a reminder that we have it up and rolling. Unfortunately, your faithful codepony updater here has been out of commission taking care of non-studio issues, and I am more than a little late in bringing all of you up to date. Hopefully we'll be able to avoid that in the future - thanks for your patience in the meantime.

We will be updating our various pages as information becomes available. New for now are links for various video clips, some new bios that are in development for some of our members, and the news. Be on the lookout for more as we get things done and ready for release!
